We are located at the nexus of historic, hippie, and family-friendly Mount Rainier and DC. This neighborhood has traditionally been a stable, multi-cultural, diverse community of owner-occupied homes. It is "up and coming" as it sees continuous investment and development. It is not downtown, but about a 15-20 min drive to the National Mall and the Capitol. We are along a major bus route to public transit (see "Getting Around" below)
Public Transportation: Several bus stops are less than 1 block away from the house. We are served by WMATA subway train stations of Rhode Island Metro Station (Red line), Fort Totten Metro Station (Red, Green/Yellow lines), and West Hyattsville Metro Station (Blue line).
Ride-share/Taxi: Uber and Lyft pick-up is fast from this address. Fare prices are also quite reasonable.
Driving: Traffic and congestion is lighter in this area, so driving is a good option.
